From what I've been reading here, it appears to have a lot to do with where the dealer is located. If you are buying from a dealer near a major metropolitan area with a demand for the product, you can expect to pay more than from a smaller rural dealer.

I think I paid $12-13K for my new 2000 B2910 last spring with $2.5-3K for the loader, but that's just off the top of my head; can't remember for sure. My dealer is near the Twin Cities, so I think I paid a bit more than if I had bought from somebody in the boondocks.

Still in love with my 2910 BTW; been getting a lot of work clearing snow this winter! :-) ....

Tough question, John. I paid $12,600 for my 1999 B2710 plus $2,900 for the LA401 loader. I understand the B2910 is another $600 to $1,000, then maybe a little increase in price in the last year and a half? Hope this helps a little bit. ....

Go to steve carvers web site and check out his prices. You might beat them by a very small margin, but they're VERY competetive in general. You can get there by clicking on the orange tractor picture on the home page.

Obviously my guess on what I paid was a fantasy of what I would have LIKED to have paid and not what I actually did... ;-) I pulled out my receipt and found that I paid $14,400 for my 2000 B2910 with R4s and block heater, and $3250 for the LA402 loader. I think I could have knocked about $1000 off the total had I shopped around more/looked at dealers further from home, but this was the only dealer with 2910s in stock in my area when I was buying... Good luck in your purchase, John! ....
